Built around choreography, digital manipulation and tactile visual design, Losing Control by BELARIA is this week’s Music Video of the Week at the Berlin Music Video Awards. Translating sound into bodies, texture and rhythm, the video unfolds as a tightly synchronized system where movement and material function as equal narrative forces in constant motion.

Directed by Roso @roso.jtm, the film is shaped by a distinctly hands-on, multidisciplinary approach, with direction, VFX, rotoscoping and AI-driven post-production converging into a singular visual language. Choreography developed with dancer and choreographer Jena Divol @jenadivol turns movement into a physical score - each gesture precisely aligned with the track’s rhythmic and textural shifts.

Editor Lucas Mary @lucary_ plays a crucial role in shaping the final form, navigating a complex edit where fragmented bodies and sound layers are dismantled and reassembled with exacting control.

Produced with a strong sense of cohesion by Anis Gabsi @lesigab, Losing Control feels intimate yet futuristic - giving music weight, surface and breath, and positioning the video as a confident expansion of BELARIA’s visual universe.
